A brief tryst has left Lucy pregnant. All she recalls is that he said he was Sam from Brooklyn.

Hoping to meet Sam or someone who knows him, Lucy takes a job in a Brooklyn Bar. After a few weeks, having had no luck and feeling frustrated, she’s left wondering whether to keep hoping, or to get on with her life. Tempted by the offer of a job on a cruise ship, Lucy gives herself five more days to decide.

Little does she know, her social media posts have alerted others to where she can be found. There are people Lucy has no idea exist with a keen interest in the future of her and her unborn child, some of which do not have her best interests at heart. A battle of manipulation unfolds, with Lucy unaware of the danger she is in.

As Lucy gets to know her customers, nothing is as it seems. Her world becomes more fraught with danger. Struggling with her pregnancy and relationship issues, Lucy finds herself with more options for her future than she expected.

As seemingly unrelated incidents start to connect, Lucy realises her story has only just begun…
