Autobiography
This book is a delightful distraction from the unwelcome intrusions of COVID-19 and a reminder of what makes rural life in Shropshire so special.
Casting back to a time when life was almost incomprehensibly different I take a reminiscent journey from an era when most houses in our area didn’t have electricity or running water, through to the present day.
I would be the first to admit that I have had a charmed life with more than my fair share of luck. I was born into a loving family where, although money was not plentiful we never went hungry. I was determined to follow my heart in the county where I was born and brought up and unlike many, I was lucky enough to achieve my dreams and ambition of becoming a huntsman.
