Born In Guildford, Surrey, my first two schools were abroad, my father serving in the Royal Navy. After graduating from Liverpool University in 1977, I worked for over 20 years in planning and logistics in the confectionery industry, followed by over 16 years as a Director of Business Systems in the medical device industry, much of the time overseas. Married for over 45 years, with children and grandchildren, we have links to Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
Since retiring I joined the Dovetail Writing Group in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, their members have been patiently guiding me through my writing journey. My passions include Hampshire and England Cricket, and Southampton Football Club. I am a former marathon runner, but now a gentle Park runner. I enjoy kayaking and swimming, having taken part in many long distance swimming events. I regularly play badminton and bowls.
