Paula Hillman has written and published seven mystery novels set in various locations around Cumbria and the Lake District, where she resides. She worked as a primary school teacher for many years but left in 2019 to follow her dream of writing. She earned an MA in creative writing in 2022 and a local history diploma in 2023, which she has used well. The Silver Road is her first romance novel.
