Martin Parsons

I'm Martin Parsons, I'm currently thirty-six years old and I'm from Dorset. I went to Gillingham comprehensive school in Dorset, before going on to study Performing Arts at Wiltshire college in Salisbury. It was there that I developed an interest in both story telling and later WWII, or to be more specific Nazi-occupied Europe. (But I love all history in general) I remember it quite vividly, it was 2006, and they were showing repeats of the sitcom, Goodnight Sweetheart, and I fell in love with it, and I started going down this WWII rabbit hole. I was buying all the things I could on the subject, books, dvds, and I started really getting into the 1970s television dramas, Secret Army and Colditz. Writing has become a major hobby of mine and I will never stop, I only seek to improve myself more and more. Most recently I have been reading a lot of Robert Harris, Bernard Cornwell, and Angus Donald. As a side note, I'm a proud father of two, I identify as an INTJ, which is one of the 16 personality types in the Myers-Briggs Assessment. I also think it fitting to add, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, and I'm a proud Slytherin.
