Writing has always been a big part of who I am. From quite literally penning - in ink - ghost stories and Famous Five-esque adventures as a kid, getting published in my university magazine at 21, to typing 'The End' in the final draft of my debut novel.
These last 15-years have been one hell of a journey. Along the way I have enjoyed a stint as a court reporter, working from the heart of London's Old Bailey. I've been a roving news reporter, a real-life writer and the assistant producer on a true-crime documentary. For the last five-years I have headed up the features hub for Future PLC's real-life weeklies, including Woman, Woman's Own, Woman's Weekly and Chat magazine. My speciality is crime, but my passion is any story that draws you in from that very first line.
Writing sat on the backburner while I was busy doing all that - as well as having my two kids, Logan, 5, and Izzy 1. But I always wrote. Some of it was awful, some of it was great (if I do say so myself), none of it got finished. Until now.
Author news
My debut novel, Wait For You, is out on August 28th 2023 and available for pre-order now. It's a contemporary romance, and a true labour of love.
In Wait For You, a young couple comes face to face three years on from their brutal breakup. A row ends in a horrific car crash, throwing them back in time to relive their love story. Can they change their past mistakes? As dual narrators, Dylan and April take readers on a what-if journey of love, life and regret.
