Jenny Henman is the mother of three adult children, and for over 25 years, she was a finance director in the non-profit sector. She was born and grew up in London, but now widowed and retired, lives in a Kent village, alone, with her black poodle Jimbo. She enjoys walking, reading and—of course—writing. Her favourite subjects explore the personal aspects of people’s lives that enable the reader to understand the complex and sometimes intimate details of those lives.
‘It’s All About Others’ is her first book, although she is currently working on a fictionalised biography of her great-great-grandmother, Esther, who was born in 1845 and experienced an unbelievably tragic life. Having only previously written myriad reports for business during her career, Jenny, in her later years, has developed a passion to write, and moreover, has discovered that she actually enjoys reading her own work.
