James Rainsford is the creative pseudonym of K.D. (Brian) Curtis, a writer, photographer and sometime musician.
He was born in Kent, raised and schooled in Essex and attended The University of Sussex, where he read Philosophy, English and History.
He has variously, been a merchant-seaman, welder, teacher, college-lecturer and company-director, and now enjoys the freedom of a well-earned retirement.
He is the author of a previous novel entitled Education, Edukation, Edukashun. He has also published a selection of his poetry under the title We Cast Pale Shadows.
He is married with two children and currently lives in Gloucestershire.
