Jack Dryden

I am first and foremost a writer, not an author! My books are there ultimately to serve you as the reader through provoking thoughts around the key issues of our time and past in an entertaining way. I gravitate to subject matter that is geopolitical in current times and in the Cold War drawn from my experiences growing up in Britain during that time.

I love adventure and unashamedly the characters in my novels are adventurers but they also have a grounded reality, bravery and compassion, traits I feel that are overlooked in today's popular novels. That doesn't mean there is a hankering back to some simplistic fantasist view the past was best but rather we can take what was good from it and make a better today.
