Helena Buckinx

Helena Buckinx (born 1970) grew up in Brussels. She dreamed of a career as an air traffic controller, but eventually studied history and has now been working as an event & communication manager in the private banking sector for over twenty years.

At sixteen, she discovered her greatest passion, painting, and over the years she’s organised several exhibitions of her own work. Her other ambition has always been to write a novel. Travellers in Transit is her debut and was awarded the 2021 ‘Indie Awards Public Prize’.
