I live in the beautiful Cotswolds, where I sub-edit and write for a local free magazine. I'm also a member of a small, local creative writing group. We meet regularly and take turns to lead sessions on agreed themes. During Lockdown, unabIe to meet, the group wrote a daily poem, and the verses were collated into a Lockdown Poetry book. Looking back, the poems provide a poignant record of how Lockdown affected us all.
I have four grandchildren, two in their twenties and two of eight and five years of age. My first book project was written with them in mind. Becoming a published author has proved to be an enlightening experience. I enjoy all aspects of the written word and intend to keep writing for as long as I can.
