E. J. Pepper grew up in Worcestershire and Co. Donegal. She has an M.A. in Creative Writing from Chichester University and has worked as a marital therapist. university lecturer and magistrate. She lives with her husband in Southern England.
'Winter Kill,' a literary thriller, is E. J. Pepper's fourth book.
Her first book, 'The Colours of the Dance,' won the First Novel Prize, and her second book, 'Flight Path,' was winner of the Exeter Novel Prize.
Her novel, 'The Disappeared,' which won second prize in the 2021 Yeovil literary competition, is on submission.
