Author’s bio
Danielle has spent the last 15 years running her as a pioneering coach and writer who has supported over 1,600 clients through relationship breakdown. She is the author of After the Split, now in its second edition, which guides clients through a relationship breakup and helps to provide emotional steadiness and restore self-belief in times of transition. Grey Matters is her first novel. Danielle’s emotionally driven, true to life work is rooted in her deep understanding of relationships.
Originally French, Danielle currently divides her time between Edinburgh and Northumberland. After decades in the UK, she can only write in English. Danielle is an Age Without Limits champion and a passionate supporter of the WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality) campaign.
The themes she explores in her writing include the many reasons women become strong; starting a new life; belonging; love and friendships as they age; the way the past shapes but does not define women; finding themselves and challenging expectations; violence against women, control and coercion; relationship breakups; mothering - especially as single mothers – and family estrangement.
