Barbara Greig

I was born in Sunderland and grew up in County Durham. After studying Ancient and Modern History at Sheffield University, I had a very fulfilling career teaching History and Classical Civilisation in sixth form colleges before leaving to concentrate on writing historical fiction. 'Discovery' is my second novel. I am married with two grown-up children and now live in North Yorkshire. When not researching and writing, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and tribal dancing. Wherever possible I walk in the footsteps of my characters.
