B B Elsin is the author of "Heroes and Traitors", a speculative fiction novel inspired by the aftermath of the English Civil War. She is a retired business academic who loves to explore the “what ifs?” of history. She started writing fiction to help cope with sudden hearing loss and late-diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under her real name (Beth Rogers/E Rogers), B B is a regular contributor of short fiction and History Elf blogs to BBC Upload, and her poems have been published in anthologies.
B B Elsin has recently been interviewed by Lee Benson on Black Country Radio Xtra, and Jaden Cornelious on YouTube.
Her flash fiction "Monster in the Gents", which was placed in a writing competition, and "Being Dudes in Higgy", a poem which appeared in a booklet published by Marlow Musuem, were featured on BBC Upload June/July 2026.
Her short story "Trick or Treat" was highly commended in a national competition in July 2026.
