B B Elsin is the author of "Heroes and Traitors", a speculative fiction novel inspired by the aftermath of the English Civil War. She is a retired business academic and chair of a historical society, who loves to explore the “what ifs?” of history. She started writing fiction to help cope with sudden hearing loss and late-diagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder. Under her real name (Beth Rogers/E Rogers), B B has had Flash Fiction broadcast on BBC Upload, her Haiku poems have been published in anthologies and her short stories in Slack magazine.
Beth Rogers (AKA B B Elsin) was awarded the "Writer of the Year" title for 2025 by Slough Writers' Group. Thrilled and surprised by the honour, she commented: "I value the support that I get from writers groups and the Slough Writers Group, which meets weekly, is my regular "go-to" for critique and improvement in a friendly environment."
B B Elsin appeared in two magazines this month. "Traitors and Treasures" was an interview with her in Round and About (October 2025). "Local inspiration for intirguing speculative tale" appeared in "Metroland Life" (Autumn 2025).
