Surrey born, Ali Carter lives in North Norfolk with her husband, a retired Met. Police Officer who is a great help in assuring legalities in her books are as accurate as possible, but up to date research is also regularly undertaken. She used to write poetry in the 80s and 90s attracting some publishing and competition successes, but 'Blood List,' released in October 2018, was her first novel. The sequel, 'Dead Girls Don't Cry' followed in February 2020, and the third in the series, 'The Delegate,' was released in January 2023. Book four, 'Fire & Ice' (a part back story to Blood List), is currently at the half way mark and Ali is aiming for a 2025 release. Her writing day is usually accompanied by a few of her far too many pets that seem to find their way into her not exactly gigantic study, but the company is welcomed as writing can be a pretty isolating occupation at times. However, there is a regular overspill into the lounge where she tends to also write late at night when the house is quiet. Her passion is definitely murder (and cake!), but she has an equal interest in a natural approach to good health, and a fun approach to life! Now she is finally living up on the Norfolk Broads, a lifelong desire, she also gets to spend a lot more time with her family too. 'Blood List' is still available as an E-Book on Amazon, and in paperback directly from the author, or at one of her many North Norfolk events - a first reprint was commissioned in September 2022, and a second in October 2023. 'Dead Girls Don't Cry' is also still available directly from the author or at one of her North Norfolk events, and is now also available as an e-book. 'The Delegate' is available as a paperback to order from all good bookshops, directly from the author, or at one of her North Norfolk events. To Contact Ali on Social Media....
