It is International Festival of the Earth Day; a huge Continental Climate Change protest at the Lincoln Memorial, is underway. John Green and Phoenix Shultz are FBI Officers delivering the security at the event. Leading the protest, a Cherokee shaman, Wohali Lightfoot from Oklahoma, and his white stallion are both brutally assassinated.
The FBI Director immediately dispatches John Green to Oklahoma. A local professor in Native American Indian culture is commissioned to advise him.
Phoenix Schultz anchors a team of investigators in Washington DC. Having searched the Lincoln Memorial Undercroft Phoenix finds evidence that the shooters gained access through a very secure iron door. Is there a climate terrorist conspiracy involving an internal, Federal Government ‘mole’?
Arriving in Oklahoma, John Green learns that Wohali’s father, Isaac and sister, Woya have fled to the Smokey Mountains. On the night he arrives, John Green is immediately forced to defend a terrorist assault at an isolated retreat. Interviewing Isaac, John wrestles with his own private demons hearing about Isaac’s childhood history surviving the worldwide ‘Stolen Generations’ of indigenous children and blames an ideological ‘predator’ he names, the ‘Corleone Christ’.
From this point on the whole investigation, together, with local State police, chase down the climate terrorist conspiracy to a thrilling conclusion.
