Martin Ikedais

Born in Dorking, Surrey, Martin was writing imaginatively from the moment he picked up a pencil, driving his teachers to distraction scribbling pages of illegible material seemingly without end. Nowadays, armed with a word processor (to correct his terrible typing), he concentrates on writing stories of a scientific or historical bent, capturing the lives of those in need or in peril, those undergoing transformative experiences. A lover of the countryside, its history and landscape, Martin has worked in science education for over thirty years. In his free time he enjoys walking, metal detecting, and messing about in boats.
