Originally from South London, Christine graduated in English from York University, then pursued a career in leadership consultancy before making a life-changing decision to buy a hotel and move with her husband and young daughters to North Cornwall. With the hotel sold and her daughters ‘fledged’, her home - and source of writing inspiration - is now a village south-west of Truro, just minutes from the sea.
